Nothing says fall like pumpkin spice, though, despite my love of coffee, you’ll never catch me sipping a pumpkin spice latte.
Gag. Gross. No. Just no! Now that we cleared that up, here’s a little treat I whipped up in just a few, painstaking hours. Make sure you scroll all the way down or you’ll miss the awesome Namaste giveaway!
Please. I’m a mom! I don’t have a couple hours to do anything! I whipped these top 8 free pumpkin spice donuts up and had them in the oven in under 10 minutes (a small miracle considering how many pictures I took).
My big secret to a quick treat that the kids gobbled up? Spice Cake mix from Namaste Foods. They asked if they could send me a few products to try out in exchange for a review to which I happily obliged as long as they would PLEASE send me the spice cake mix. It had been calling at me from the store shelves for weeks and I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it. The gluten free flour blend is the only one I use, so I had high hopes for the spice cake.
Not donuts. Nope. I have this adorable pumpkin shaped bundt cake pan and envisioned spice cake with cream cheese frosting. My eight year old (who is gluten intolerant) immediately suggested pumpkin donuts. Who can argue with donuts? Not me. I even have the donut pan (and about 800 other ridiculous kitchen gadgets and pan). <— that highlighted donut pan is my affiliate link.
We try to avoid most dairy but dairy free cream cheese doesn’t quite live up to the frosting fantasy I was having. The beauty about these donuts is that there’s no dairy debate since a simple cinnamon and sugar mix is perfect. I used grass fed butter to make the mixture stick but there are many really good dairy free butter options. Since Namaste Foods, which produces of variety of mixes and flour blends, makes their products in a dedicated top 8 free facility, these donuts are truly allergy friendly!
The entire family agreed this was their favorite gluten free donut recipe that I’ve ever made. I was just happy it was also a quick, no fuss recipe! I only used half the mix (it makes 2, 9″ cakes) so I still have plans for my pumpkin bundt cake.

I don’t like PSL, either. Those donuts look amazing, though! I need to try Namaste’s pizza crust mix. Pizza is almost always the thing that blows my happy GF life. If I can find a great crust, I’ll have conquered my biggest temptation. 😉

I feel your pain about pizza. I haven’t attempted because I’m stuck on what to do about cheese.

Those donuts look amazing! My family (not GF) have been eating apple cider donuts in front of me and I think it’s time I pick up that donut pan and make some of my own.

Meanies! Go show them! These are so good, they wouldn’t even realize they were GF if you shared…which I highly suggest not doing.
