I’ve long been a fan of author Danielle Walker of Against All Grain and now she is giving me one more reason to love her: a holiday based cookbook! Not only is she a follower of paleo, she is a mom who knows kids don’t eat if it’s not visually appealing! I received my pre-ordered copy of the book Tuesday and I’m feeling inspired by the beautiful creations included in this book. The kids are (easily) twisting my arm into  throwing a pre-Halloween party in order to serve up some of these amazing looking treats!


Surprisingly,* Danielle Walker’s Against All Grain Celebrations: A Year of Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, and Paleo Recipes for Every Occasion isn’t just your typical holiday fare, but also game day food like chicken wings (they are a huge hit in my house!) and Mother’s Day brunch recipes (I adore brunch!). Featured toward the back of the book is a run down of allergens and which recipes you can make based on specific dietary restrictions. Many recipes already have modifications for nut or egg allergies.
